Thanks very much Iver. A compliment indeed. And congratulations on your two wins and overall tenth place.
I know nothing about yachting and had never photographed it before. Bob Yeamans who was competing, and is a distant relative, got me a place on the spectator boat to watch and take some photos. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the racing, so colourful, so much speed, and so much spectacular action.
Hope you enjoyed my home town, Melbourne, although the weather wasn't kind.

Thanks for the tip Fred. I think you're right. Actually there was a bit of smoke haze over the track from the bushfires here in Victoria. I think this contributed to a bit of "cloudiness" and the need for contrast. I'll try a bit more and see how it comes up.
