Mike, i like the idea here, however, the image should be shot horisontally, not vertically, IMHO. This way it would be less dark space.

Overall, i think it is a nice shot.

Vadim, you have captured a very interesting moment. I wolud only say two things: it seems to me that people are better taken pictures of with their heads at higher lever than their feet and I would get closer to the ground to show more of the person's life and surroundings. A shot from above creates significant difference between the subject an a veiwer. At least IMHO.

Everyone sees different things here. It's amazing what people interprete it as. Nobody mentioned the object I saw there. I just love people's reaction to this image.

Thank you very much for your comments! Please post more!!

    Best wishes.

you conveyed the mood and impression very well. i can totally see -- the cat is dreaming of warm days when she can go outside again. i love the picture. the composition is nice too. another way to crop it could be just the face and the paw. (just another way of looking at it).

    cute cat, by the way.

I am glad you did not make a "cat scan" shot. What would you do to the poor annimal then :)

    Nice composition, by the way.

  1. I can totally see his mind is not in the classroom! Great shot. I thought that the desk space in the bottom of the picture could be cropped out, since it does not convey any significant information.

    The eye color is amazing!

    great job,

  2. Good job, Nikita,

I would crop this image a bit to get rid of unnecessary details -- they are distractive. Actually, I went ahead and did, check out the attachment. Concert photography is hard, it's difficult to keep your subject in focus at the same time. Keep posting!

    best of luck,

    Jenya
