Good shot, but could be made much more powerful by burning your corners and the upper sky.

in my opinion this particular composition would be stronger off center. also you could use a polarising filter to grab more detail through the water and eliminate some (not all) of the glare on the big drop.

thanks for all the comments. the photo was taken durring a forest fire inland. that was what was making all the nice colors. it was only ~3:00 pm so it wasnt a sunset. the light was from a 45 angle as you can tell from the light starring in the upper right. the color was boosted slightly in ps but only to the point of what i remember of that day.
