  1. Excellent shot! A really good idea to include the weeds. Most people would try to crop that out of the picture seeing it as a distraction, but I think it adds rather than subtracts.
  2. Our guide tracked her in the early evening hours (about 3 PM) in the

forest. I wish the lighting were a little more on the face but it's

hard to control that when the tiger is moving (and so's the jeep on

    which I was).

  3. You made my day with that comment!

Knowing myself, I doubt that I'll ever put them on the market, but it's very encouraging to know that I'm doing something right and it's another step in the direction I want to go with photography. Thanks a lot!! :)

  4. Hi Gerry,

That was a great critique! I can relate to it even more than you think and here's why...

we arrived here about halfway during our drive from the North Rim to the South Rim of the GC. The temperature was a blistering 110 outside and my family waited a long 40 mins baking in the car while I tried to find a place to get this shot from the other side of the bridge... unfortunately there was no place to shoot from. So I compromised and shot this from a convenient foot bridge that runs parallel to this one... sadly on the wrong side of the sun... so did the best I could with this.

I couldn't agree more with what you said and the photo u attached superbly illustrates your opinion. What I'm really happy about is that my thoughts at the time were along the same lines of your critique that goes to say I'm at least thinking right :)

I agree with Christian. The mood is serene... almost eerie... reminds me of The Hound of Baskervilles... although not quite that macabre.
