The setting was the dressing room (hence the brides shoes). The little girls mother had just left and she was watching her leave the room. A bit aprehensive about the ceremony to come and being left with a very busy room. You can also see the dress in the mirror that was hanging a little sloppily on the side. I was wondering if it would be better if it were skinnier and the second mirror was taken out. But that may be difficult. Thanks for your comments. I think I do like the lights though. I hate to crop the top of the mirror.

Nice shot, beautiful lighting great shine in the lips... BUT I do not see much of a shadow under her chin which doesn't define her face and makes her look a little chunkier (not much just a tad). I would bring her chin down and move her head more torwards the left to give her a nice shadow across her nose (plus it will help to take some of the roundness out). It will help to add some drama. Also I would crop it down and leave out the space at the top. You already cut into her head a bit so now you might as well really do it!!

The white vignette doesn't really do anything for me. I would consider also turning it to a sepia to really make it look more old fashioned. Interesting shot old mixed with new, fun!

I absolutely love this one. The innocence of the child. The great focus on the face with a bit of blur on the hand. The first thing you see is the eyes of this little guy. It is almost like you can see the man inside this little boy. Great Job!!
