Technically -- Beautifully composed, cleverly presented, and crystal clear.
Metaphorically: (See Technically) :)

Wonderful photo, Baerbel, in composition, color and creativity. And, the semi- darkened walkway looks like it's paved with jewels.

This Lenticuar Cloud formation appeared over Sedona AZ's famed
Courthouse Butte in January, 1996. It remained for more than 4 hours;
yet during that period, there wasn't another cloud to be seen in the
entire sky.

Your Flag is perfect as both a photographic portrait and personal statement made by capturing it's essence in reverse. I envision this poignant representation as a symbol for the Country's mostly silent, but omnipresent, anti-war sentiment -- the 1960's Peace sign, updated. Better still, it should be marketed as a bumper sticker, without words. It speaks for itself!

Well done, Barb! You captured your subject's most expressive face with great artistry and warmth. You also add a touch of mystery here, as the viewer must interpret for him/herself this pretty child's great need for her soft blanket.

Carpe Diem! This sudden Arizona storm became an unexpected fall foto op.

A total contrast in age, this newly born chipmunk and old tree logs

Taken at dusk on a September evening, the lighting was perfect for
this majestic Sedona, AZ landmark.

Beautuful seascape! The muted colors of grass, sand, sea and sunset invite the viewer into this halcyon scene.

The first photo I ever took -- shot on a very hot and humid August
dawn, in back of my CT home. As a result of this personally rewarding
experience, I stopped commuting to a job in NYC and became a photographer.

This gentle soul and I became acquainted in the Connecticut woods
during the winter of 1989. Our brief encounter brought us within a few
feet of one another for one of the most spiritual experiences of my
life. Those few, special moments proved to be as rewarding personally,
as they were photographically.
Comments and suggestions welcome.

A visually satisfying photo in that it's warm, colorful, and thought provoking. A beautiful composition that beckons the viewer to enter this well maintained, cheerful property.

I am both impressed by and envious of your artistic ingenuity, dear classmate. You have produced a wonderfully whimsical composition, Barb.
