  1. i'v baught a new mini DV camera and i'm editing on my computer . when

i want to import/export movie i don't know the right setting that

will keep my camera's DV original quality .

can you tell me or relate me to a site dealing with technical

    teaching of DV editing .

for example : what is square pixel 1.0 or DV PAL1.0067 ? is my

panasonic camera shooting 720x576 or 768x576 ? what stereo audio

recording means when i have a buildin mic ?

    thanks idan.

  2. my logic and experience with 50 f1.8 and extension tubes & close up diopter tells me the right upgrade is the 180 macro lens .

    but that is expenssive .

do you think i can do a job of that kind with one of the other options mentioned ?

    thanks to everybody .

  3. hello

i didn't get any comment about the different in the image quality between a customer zoom like sigma 70-300 and a profesional lens like 70-200 f2.8 .

does it mean that for close objects i don't need to take a heavy expensive lens ?

maybe because i use the smallest aparture possible .

yes ,i meant to take pictures from 6 feet for the reason i think a butterfly will fly away if i'll get closer .

i think this way i will get up to 1:4 life size with the 300 end of most zoom .

i didn't understand if i can do that or better magnification than that with the 70-200 f2.8 and accessories .

an extension tube might lower the output quality .

on macro mode what is the greatest distant from the object within i can focus using this two last lenses ?

  4. What is the best lens for shooting batterflys insects and other small

animels from a distance of 6' to 60' with an EOS camera ?

is it the canon 100-400 zoom lens or the sigma 70-300 APO macro or a

    70-200 f2.8 zoom with accessories or maybe a 300 f2.8 lens ? help !!!
