I bought a bronica sqa a little while ago, with the hope of getting a
fisheye for it. but they're both rare and expensive. anyone know of a
cheap medium format 6x6 fisheye? other than a kiev. i've got a budget
of about 1000 for the entire system.

"Maybe Konica/Minolta will buy them. Contax/Yashica/Minolta/Konica, CYMK anyone? I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist."
ahaha, yeah I got that. although it's usually CMYK...

Thanks for all the responses. Just as well I asked bout the fisheye, I would have spent the next year searching for a non-existent lens aha. I'll look out for the 35mm, and I'm aware of the cost, but I'm justifying that by the quality. Nice site btw Lee, I've seen that before.
@Peter S: I'll check that when it comes through. cheers.
Thanks again everyone!

Hmm, thought so. Thanks for clearing that up. I'm gonna be using this mainly for skateboard photography, and probably around 80% of skate photography uses fisheyes, and most skaters are used to looking at distorted images, so the distortion isn't an issue. I don't think 40mm is wide enough for my purposes.

Just bought a standard bronica sqa kit, with 80mm and WLF, was
wondering if there was anything I should know? I'm familiar with 35mm
film, I've been using a fully manual pentax k1000, so I hope it's not
going to be too much of a leap (like from auto digital compacts) But
are there many little quirks, certain ways of doing things, any faults
I should look out for, simple maintainance I could carry out (like
when you flock and tape a holga for eg.) basically anything that's not
going to be in the instructions?
Also, I'm planning on eventually getting a 30mm (haha, I know they're
like gold dust) but I've only seen them advertised as zenzanon 30mm
for ETRS. Are these still compatible with SQA? Or do you have to get a
30mm for SQA?
Thanks
cheap medium format fisheye?!

I thought this might me the case. I don't want to go down the kiev/pentacon six route because they have a flash sync of only 1/60, which is useless for daylight fill flash. This is something I'd be using regularly.
I guess I just have to get saving/waiting for the SQ fish.
