    Shot at f2.8 @ 70mm with a Sigma 24-70 EX DG

TV was on... window open too.

My niece (you can see her eyes) is very affectionate. Always kissing

    my son and hugging him.

    Thoughts and comments please.

    Peter.

This was my first real attempt at post (dodge & burn) and converting to B/W via the

channel mixer. Also, my first attempt at a 'high key' effect.

Let me know what you think.

    Maurizio,

This is an amazing shot. I love every single part of it!

Would you care to share how you lit and filtered for this shot?

    Thank you,

    Peter.

  1. Hi,

I see what you were after, I think the framing is off a little. There is too much forehead which stands out as opposed to the eyes.

The shot seems a little underexposed too...

    Did you crop this shot?

Attached are 3 alternatives (they are different... not better)

PS: This is just my opinion, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

It took me 3 attempts. The first one came out upside down ;) Then I realised ow to do it properly... I just wish I got back to the point I started at... would have looked great.

    Love...

I was watching my Wife feed our newborn son. It was a moment where I

loved them both so much... this was the only light on and I decided

    to capture my feeling.

  2. I am shooting my wifes products for a Website and a display book, please let me know

    how I can improve it.

    The details are:

I have 2 home made soft boxes with a 100watt in each.

I really like this shot, yes its busy but holds my attention. I really like the way the musicians have their heads in opposite directions... just bopping along and the women are indifferent.

    Nice.
