Michael: thank you! I wanted to get a shot with less clouds so that the blue sky would almost mirror the river. I can't believe how beautiful the snow was that day. Maybe next time...

Michael: Thanks! I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Ha, now that you mention it, they were actually flying up stream! I think I was out shooting for about 4 hours that day :)

Thank you for your critique! I agree with you that the chair photo looks better in B/W. I really like this photo of yours. This is definitely one case where placing the horizon line in the middle of the photo is mesmerizing. Thanks again!

Thanks for the compliments! It was definitely a welcome treat to run into a fellow member. Your Huron River photos are magnificent!. I have seen all of these places a thousand times however I have never seen them with such beauty and splendor. The richness in color and contrast is stunning. I think HDR is going to be my next challenge. Thanks for opening my eyes to it.
