I think you could have cropped off the handle bars (and the extra space on front of the bike) because there is no snow on them and we don't need them to recognize the bike. You could have included the entire back wheel.

Nice shot, certainly well titled.

The penguins are a little dark, IMO. I like the framing as is. The fact that you can see far in a not-to-blurred background, the snow/ice pacth and the fifth penguin situate the motowners very well. It says that in this vast and harsh land, some have fun. If anything, I'd like to see more blurred pens which I could easily imagine go about their daily thing while these four are having a blast maybe with a few watchers close by. Cropping is too much like a concert shot showing the band only. I want to see part of the crowd for some atmosphere.

This is just fantastic. The DOF, colors, composition. The best I've seen in quite a while.

Another thing that amazes me is the illusion created by contrast of sharp/blurred and cold/warm light. It looks like you staged this shot inside with a projected slide as the background.

Edit: My only very minor nitpick: I would like the cairn a little more to the right to leave a bit more shadow where the rocks are the closest to the sunlit background (hopefully, that was understandable).

It's not lens flare. The halo is a sign of the presence of cirrostratus clouds. The sundogs or "false suns" are common at sunrise/sunset with these clouds.
