Art Deco-style architecture concentrated on Ocean Drive between 5th Street & 15th Street -- mostly hotels -- so it is usually OK to also go into lobby to look for interior details if using handheld...
Coral Gables, consider Mediterranean-style Biltmore Hotel c.1926 exterior & lobby.

Skim through these for photo opp possibilities. Sevierville is next to Gatlinburg:

Coincidentally, you may find my blog entry today about USVI interesting -- many photo opps within walking distance -- including paradise-like scenics.
Also see entry a few days back about previously mentioned Santa Fe:

Check my Aug 30 entry: www.WhereToTakePhotos.com
It has information about taking photos in Santa Fe.

Thanks. Have limited website building skills but applied some of your advice.
The bigger problem is lack of visitors -- first day was 400+
Have simultaneous blogs at blogspot, wordpress, etc., which is attempt to funnel visitors to my domain name but there are few or no readers to funnel -- e.g., a flickr "Travel Photography" discussion group with 25K+ members is where I invited others to visit blog but discussion group, it turns out, only gets a few postings daily! I naively envisioned easily building up to 10K+ daily visitors whom visitor bureaus would view as potential tourists...
Your other point -- as a stock shooter I have to do what I can to hinder unauthorized useage of images.

Do you like sampling wine & photographing vineyards? Consider Mission Peninsula & areas just northwest of
Traverse City MI:

You might catch tail end of cherry harvest, too.

Alamy is nonexclusive.
One can submit to as many nonexclusive agencies as one wishes.
Some agencies are exclusive -- all eggs in one basket -- OK if one picks the $$ basket.
Personally I prefer diversifying, not the latter.

"great human faces with lots of character"
Pocahontas, Arkansas is 110 miles to northwest of Memphis. You decide:

Links to uncropped RAWs.
Both hand held with IS on.
Was surprised to find cheaper lens is sharper.
Anyone else done similar test?

Was shooting 20D RAWs --> EVU --> 16bit TIFs
Now shooting 40D RAWs --> RIT --> 16bit TIFs
Unable to use DPP because I need to use comment box --> Photoshop 7 caption box
& DPP strips out comments whereas RIT doesn't.
Issues: RIT doesn't allow deletion of image?
(selection --> delete selection --> unselect, not deleted)
RIT exposure & WB adjustments don't show up in Zoombrowser?
(Zoombrowser stuck at camera settings?)
As to RIT (RAW Image Task) quality of conversion, any reason to get off it?
Objective advice & comments on above appreciated. regards jg

Mark, you will get the correct answer by calling an expert:

1. Rudy Winston/Canon Pro Rep (516) 328-4804
2. Chuck Westphal/Canon Pro Rep (516) 328-4828

(they don't answer questions with a question plus hyperbole)

It will "expand" your possibilities. Rock stable in hurricane-like winds? No. There are techniques & props for making tripods/heads more stable eg. hanging sandbags, etc.

I just moved to Miami Beach, about 1+ hours from Homestead entrance
to Everglades. Bought $20 annual pass & plan frequent visits to that
entrance, Shark Valley, etc. Want to take sunrise shots in pineland,
coastal prairie, mangrove marsh, etc. but would prefer driving to
Park night before, sleeping in car, & being ready at dawn. Would
prefer not to always pay camping fee & wonder if others have strategy
that works. Advice appreciated.

Another nearby photo opportunity is "The Turtle Hospital" in Marathon.

>The moon will appear about 14% larger than it does at apogee...

14% larger than the smallest full moon which means it will only be about 7% larger than typical full moon? (like zooming from 100mm to 107mm)
Giving up on Alamy?

>I find that the entire company, all 19.4 million images, is selling just ~400 images per month.
Top 8 idividual contributors selling ~400/mo IMO.
Excludes agencies & novel usage sales.
Suggest you start "Why Don't I Have Any Sales for a Year?" thread on Alamy's own forum.
It could get brutal. It could get ignored.
