John. It's called photoshop and IMO just cheapens photos.
-
Zack, not lucky. It's actually not that hard to get this shot in tennis.
-
No offense to Ivana but this does absolutely nothing for me. Crooked horizon, no faces, motion blurred. Colors are flat. Background is distracting.
check out Fredmiranda.com and its Sports Corner forum and Sportsshooter.com.

snapshot. light above their heads is distracting as is the pole growing out of the shoulder of the man on the right.

"Wondering if I should continue the project."
YES!

Doesn't communicate a whole lot and the subject is too centered.

Good moment. Zoom in. Crop tighter. Increse highlights.

I agree with the comment above. In terms of artwork, this is top notch. In terms of a photograph that shows what is actually there....this isn't it. I think this is a great example of what you can do to a pretty dull photograph just by messing with some basic Photoshop editing menus. Nothing too special was done to this image except slide some bars farther left or right. Just shows that you don't have to be a Photoshop expert to dramatically improve an image from a dull photograph to a piece of ARTWORK (not photograph).

I like the concept but I would like you to see you get more creative. Perhaps litrerally put her in a box. I could get crazy creative thanks to the little paragraph you posted. Go deeper with this idea. It has GREAT potential for great photos.

A radient smile (althought she'll need braces in the future : ) . A just really love the expression and lighting on this. Great work!

Chip...first you suggest your 14 year old son to photo.net, then you are arguing that this is pornography and you shouldn't have suggested the site and how ludacris of photo.net to have this on their site. I'm sorry but, this is the first nude image you've seen on photo.net??? I'm sure not. It seems very stupid of you to ever suggest a photography website (except probably SportsShooters) to a 14 year old boy. Why? Because nude photography is a very large style/category in photography. Every single photo site will feature nude photography...get used to it. Why would you ever suggest a site to a 14 year old boy with thousands of nude images on it...im just not sure.
Secondly, this is absolutely not pornography. You have obviously not seen pornography if you thing this image is porn. This is unique, creative, and technically spot on in every way. This does not in anyway exploit or intentionally uncover a NATURAL BODY PART of a human being. In fact, it disguises it very well. (porno does not) To be very honest, I wasn't even sure what it was when viewing the thumbnail. You will know pornography on a thumbnail half the size of those on the homepage of photo.net!
I truly feel sorry for your son who has to deal with your conservative and overprotective parenting ways. (im being very blunt, yes). You can't keep their minds clean forever. You want grandkids afterall, right?? I think he will need to know what one of these is before that ever happens. I would hope at 14 year son would be mature enough to look at this image in an artistic way, rather than in attempts to............nevermind.
I am 18 and I am viewing this image with absolutely no issues. It is artistically, creatively, and technically one of the best images I have ever seen on photo.net and I have no issues viewing this purely artistically, not sexually.
We should be praising this image from Martin for its over-the-top creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.!! 100/100!!!!

Did you submit this photo to any newspaper companies? Looks very familiar to a front page photo at our local paper I saw awhile back. Photo credit was simply "Associated Press". The one i saw was cropped and more of a vertical.

I can't really say anything about this photo that hasnt been already said. I only have one suggestion to you, sir. Put this photo into every photography contest you can find. This is one of the best photos (not artistically, perhaps) I have ever seen. On photo.net, on the internet, in museums. This is truly something you should cherish for years and years. 1000/1000

Wow...this photo tells a story; it grabs at your heart and soul and you can only help but feel sorry and ashamed for a fellow human being can not help someone who has been forced to live on the streets as this man must. Whether people agree with it or not I have always been a strong advocate to help the poor/homeless even if bad choices landed them there. I find it hard to let a human being live like this man.

Good balance in colors and good composition. However, I find the white balance to be off which detracts from the image. (Too many oranges) Who knows...could just be me.......

Apparently the shutter on your camera is not very loud....I would have freaked out if I were him when I heard it go off! haha!

The first thing I thought about when I saw this....Ansel Adams.......YOU ARE IN FINE COMPANY, MY FRIEND! Im not sure how someone could even give you a 5 for this image. One of the best images I HAVE EVER SEEN on Photo.net..or anywhere for that matter. 10000/100000
