Well, I am not much into P & S cameras and don't know anything or much about them. The problem is that I have

been asked by various of my friends which camera is the best, budget wise, feature wise and overall Image quality.

Can anyone help me out regarding that as you all know that Buying your first digital camera can be a scary process,

with dozens of models out there in the lower end of the price spectrum.

So, kindly either help me out with the models or features or suggest me some website where there are some

comparisons or that can be helpful in this regard.

I would suggest you to save for 500 F4 used, because coming to 300 2.8 would not give you any good change in the distance reach. The 300mm F4 IS is a good lens and you would get better photos with that rather than with a heavy bigger 300 2.8 as you can't hand hold for long. The IS on the other hand gives you better handheld results due to its IS features.

My suggestion would be to use 300 F4 with 1.4 converter and save for 500 F4, it would be a good lens to use.

I have just bought a Canon 400 2.8 L IS and I mainly am planning to shoot

wildlife and sports. I would like recommendations for a good solid

tripod/monopod for this lens. I am using a 20D and 40D mainly for this lens. I

tried using the lens on a monopod but due to weight I can't get good images.

Hence, I need your suggestions for that.

I am in a fix, I wanna use 70-200 2.8 on my 20D alongwith some teleconverter

in order to shoot birds and sports. Which teleconverter would be better for

me. A Sigma one or the Canon one. Plus, I am already in the process of

purchasing a 300 2.8 so i will be using the extender on that as well.

Kindly suggest me the better thing about the both extenders?

70 - 200 4L IS (One of my good friend highly recommend this because of IS,

Less weight, More Sharper results and latest model in the focal length range)

I wanna buy anyone of them in the coming days and would like to know your

recommendations.

5D is of course better when it comes to carry around easily, I don't even see many Photo Jouranlist carrying 1Ds around rather they are happy with the 5D light weight and other features.

My friend is a wild life photographer he has three bodies two 1D series and a 5D and he is mainly satisfied with 5D performance as he finds it more easy to operate, larger screen and easy to carry.

planning to buy two lenses for my camera, one 100-400 canon and 300 mm f4.0

Well, i will be more than thankful if any body tell me the price difference in

both the lenses in UK and USA. Should I buy it from UK or try my hands at USA

market as I have heard that is quite cheap.

I would suggest you to try the 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM, it is the best lens the way you want as it gives you upteem options, variety of zoom and all things that you want. BUt if you don't have any problems with the budget then you can try the other options as well.

Any body used this sigma 400 MM tele with canon eos 20d. Is it

working good and what about the results.

Has any body used Cosina 19-35 MM lens with Canon D20, are there any

problems or the compatability issues. With which cameras will it

work?

Well, Someone told me that it has problems when switching to D20 as the apertre don't go below F8. That is why I was asking. What are the quality issues in this lens.

Well, Has anyone tried Sigma 170-500MM lens on Canon D20 body. Is

their any problem in that as I have heard that it gives some sort of

aperture problem?

Pakistan is one of the most beautiful country in the world, and if you can't imagine, just visit the pictures of the land of the pure at websites like www.towardspakistan.com and you will understand how beautiful Pakistan is.

If you are planning to go to Pakistan and visit the areas, then you must plan something for the northern areas like Hunza, Kaghan, Naran, Kalam and much more, you will not find any place on earth like that, you can bet me.
