Critiques, ratings and ideas are all very welcome. Thanks.....

Taken on a recent trip in Scotland. I wanted to show the subtle way that
light interacts with the ferns delicately detailed leaves. Comments are
always welcome. Thanks

Very Beautiful composition, and the light is stunning.

I rescued this little creature that had got caught inside a greenhouse by
gently guiding his flight with my
hands. I was astonished when he decided to take a rest on my finger,
and didn't seem frightened at all. I
genlty laid him on an acer to rest whilst I went to get my camera, fully
expecting him to be goneon my
return. To my surprise not only was he still there where I had left him,
but he also let me take some real
close up shots before he finally decided that was enough, and off he
flew.

Beautiful capture, the colours are very complementary to each other, and your sharpness of the subject, and blurred background are incredibly well done. Congrats.

Beautiful. Well captured and nice light. Minor quibble only. Is the horizon slightly curved (may just be my eyes)? If so, it'd be an easy fix to straighten. Other than that I'm jealous. Take care.

Very nice. Really like your lighting. Excellent.

Brilliant, and very original. Well done.

A most unusual composition, but it works really well. The selective depth of field and the complementary colours work very well together to create that feeling of spring. Congrats.

Thank you for looking and for comments.

Thank you all for your kind comments, and from such talented photographers which looking at your work is already inspiring new ideas. What a great site this is.

I've added to favourites too. What is great about your image is that it entices the observer to reflect. I look at this and and I feel quite emotional.
PS. I may have to copy your idea sometime. Thanks

Congrats Ian on LPOTY. Look forward to seeing your work in Book 3.

Great shot. Super timing, and focus very sharp on the eyes. My moneys on the fish didn't make it.

Just working out how to take these. Think I've discovered what not to do.
Comments and advise is always welcome. Hints and tips would be great.
Thanks

This is the best Narcissus photo that I have seen to date. Your lighting is really nice and well controlled. Well done.
