in my opinion the composition is amazing. The way the pier stops the little waves, on the right side the face of the water is serene, that's beautiful! -

The cropping adds a claustrophobic feeling, making the subject seem even more anxious. Brilliant. -

Magnificient shot with great painting-like light and almost perfect composition. The vignetting disturbs me though. It's photoshopped isn't it? -
1/2 a step to the right and it would be perfectly centered. Great contrast between the temple colours and the grey sky. -

One of the few photos i've seen where selective color actually works. The b&w sections could have a bit more shadow and highlight detail though. -

Great shot of a veery challenging site! I went there last year and walked around with my camera for an hour and gave up. I think the colour version captures better the post-modern feel of the site.
