I don't know how I feel about this, I know a lot of people will
immediatly say CROP CROP CROP, but I kind of like how he is
portrayed in his enviroment, how do you feel about it?
-
Well, I suck at Photoshop so as you can see the color in this is
kinda funny looking (atleast on my screen) so I was wondering if
anyone had any ideas? Any other sudgestions are good too
-
Don't really have much, but I love the perspective. I used to look through my glases at dinner all the time like this when I was little... never saw a palm tree thouhg ;) Live in michigan and all hehe

oh what a precious babie! I sort of whish you got closer though so you can see his eyes better. Mabye a small crop? The left of the picture looks like it could be taken out a bit
-
I saw this exact picture (ok mabye not exact, but its got the jist) in my text book. Isn't this a muslim palace from like 800a.d?
-
thanks for any critiques!
-
nexT time you do a shot like this i sudgest you use a faster shutter speed as it IS a little blurry on when viewed larger, and the white is a bit washed out, mabye a faster shutter would help thaT?
-
did i mention that my doging job was REALLY REALLY sloppy... jeeze, posting it i relize how BAD it looked ;) oh well. Don't dodge like me :)
-
I thought that mabye cropping this a bit would give it a more "focused look" I also adjusted the sky a bit in photo-elements and did a sloppy job of dodging the chair. Also used auto color adjustment/auto contrast and this is what I got. I liked the crop better atleast

i do tend to like metallica at times, but he's actually named for his swedish barn kitty properties :). We have 3 barn kitties, Liena, Lars, and Sphen. Its my moms farm and she's 50% swedish.

My kitty Lars, any comments/critiques are nice

Sorry, this isn't going to be a helpful comment at all, just a note on the national aviary. I went pittsburg and being the crazy birder child of my family my mom felt obligated to take a detour to the national aviary. This guy sticks out more then any other bird i saw there. He chased me around and pecked at my feet constantly (but in an adorible i want to be your friend way) the keeper there kept playing with him and once the keeper would start walking around the bird imeadatly get up and follow him, sometimes his mate would come too. Seeing such a big friendly bird made me smile :)

I like it, but i think i would like it more if it was cropped just a *bit*, not so it is fully framed or anything, but the blue sky sort of sucks life out of the bird.

BEAUTIFUL. What kind of night heron is thaT? im working on being able to tell the difference between yellow and black, and i havn't been able to, with this im guessing black crowned?

Beautiful shot Cory, The composition is perfect.

It is a little noisy when made bigger to an 8x10, also, i don't like
how washed out the face can appear if anyone knows how to help with
this it would be awsome. As always other comments appreciated as
well :)

I know these are the worst kind of comments, but that is beautiful. Nothing to critique here :)

This is a beautiful shot, lucky you for having such a resident in your area! I agree with you on backlight. I have yet to see this bird on the ground when I have a camera. I used to have a coopers hawk on my street that was kind enough to pose for me, unfortunatley it was when I had my 3mp no zoom p&s, so the pictures are less then desirable :(

Shot on the beach in connecticut, comments and sudgestions
