Also of note, please notice the dramatic drop in pictures submitted. I'm wondering if others are having this same difficulty and rather then spend alot of time modifying files, they are just not posting anymore. This would be a shame, as the quality of photos on photo.net in the past has been exceptional.
Thanks, Greg Hegman

Thanks for your responses to my question. I guess the next question would be "How do I change the resolution of a file/picture so it can be posted on photo.net?" Most pictures taken with newer cameras are greater than 3 megapixels, so something has to be modified to upload them.

I have recently had difficulty uploading photos, getting the message that the
file is "too big", i.e. greater than 1500 x 1500 pixels. I have not had
trouble in the past, and even went back to two photos recently uploaded and
found them to both be larger than the specified file. Has something changed
recently to disallow files greater than 2.25 megapixels?
Thanks for answering, Greg Hegman

Thanks for the comments. I'll try them to see if any of them work.

Any pictures submitted in the vertical position come across as too
large for the screen when the enlarge option is selected. Is there
a way to correct this. Thnaks Greg Hegman

An obvious hijacking of the photo.net site by "jfd". A poor quality photo being the top rating for 4 days. What's up with this!
If nudes are to be on the photo.net site, couldn't they be put in a separate section. I can't even show my wife and kids some excellent photography work on photo.net because I'm afraid what will pop-up.

SEVERAL PHOTOS SUBMITTED IN THE LAST FEW DAYS HAVE ESSENTIALLY
DISAPPEARED FROM THE RATING GALLERY, ALTHOUGH THEY CAN STILL BE SEEN
IN MY PORTFOLIO. I'M WONDERING IF YOU COULD COMMENT ON WHY AND WHEN
THIS CAN OCCUR, AS THERE ARE NUMBEROUS PHOTOS THAT APPEAR TO BE
SUBMITTED DURING THE SAME TIME PERIOD THAT ARE BEING RATED IN
THE "24" AND THE "3 DAY" TIME FRAME. SINCE I HAVE JUST STARTED
SUBMITTING PHOTOS, I AM UNSURE OF ALL THE "INS AND OUTS" OF THE
RATING PROCESS.
OF NOTE, ONE PICTURE (OF A DAHLIA) WAS BORDERED USING A SOFT EDGE,
AND THEN A FRAME, BUT LISTED AS NOT BEING MANIPULATED. IS THIS TYPE
OF FRAMING ALLOWABLE, WHILE ALLOWING THE PICTURE TO BE LISTED AS
UNMANIPULATED?
THANK YOU FOR COMMENTING, GREG HEGMAN@MSN.COM
