I like the feeling, it makes me feel kindof small, how does it make

you feel?

This makes me miss the snow! I love the feeling of those cold but sunny days where they actually feel warm and you could lie down and bask in the warm sun and cushy silence. I think the warm tone on this ads to that feeling, damn, I've got to set aside some time for some x country skiing!

I'd like to re-do it with my now better equipment and give it a more

refined look, but how is the concept, interesting?

The sun was directly behind me and the sky was polarized to a degree

I've never seen before, the incredibly bright landscape behind me

allowed me to bring the exposure down to further exagerate the

darkened sky. The polarizer cut out all the reflections in the

foilage, I've never seen so much saturation in my landscape photos

without manipulation before. I was very happy with this, but, how does

it make you feel?

Strange light artifacts around the bird discovered once I burnt it in,

I've been told it's the light bouncing around INSIDE the film that

created the aura, supposed to happen with high contrast objects if you

are dodging and burning with film. Too fakey?

This is great! Makes me want to try something like this.

I thought it was a silhouette of a cat at first, the outline is nearly perfect. I think thats a parrot fish.

Found him while hiking, I was debating removing that horizontal twig

as it's a bit distracting, and optimally I would have wanted to have

focused completely on his eyes. I cropped in to try and fit froggy in

the rule of thirds. The lighting was so cool though, I like how the

leaf on the top left is underlit, this guy was small, no bigger than a

dime.

Walking down the street after breakfast in New Orleans, one of the the

most joyful scenes I've ever seen, this photo always makes me smile.
