Can anyone recommend a good, affordable, accurate light meter (with spot
attachment) that would be suitable for landscapes I am shooting on my G617?

I was looking at the Sekonic L-358 with 10 degree spot attachment, but heard
from a fellow photographer that when it comes to low light conditions it is
quite inaccurate.

Any suggestions?

Hi all,

I was researching scanners that have capabilities of scanning 6x17cm
transparencies and came across this new Epson Perfection V700 -

I was just wondering if anyone has used this new beast and if does really
rival drum scanners as claimed! I wonder how it compares to a scan from an
Imacon Flextight?

Cheers,

Sorry I meant the ground glass back in my post above!
-
Thanks guys, your feedback is appreciated. I did contact Satin Snow and they informed me they can make them but need the measurements, which I apparently need the Ground Glass for!? Can anyone point me in the right direction to get a ground glass back for the Fuji G617?
Thanks,

Can anyone point me in the right direction to buying or getting a ground glass
(or focusing screen) made for my Fuji G617?

I have read through all the posts and tried calling Bill Maxwell but the
number listed (Back in early 2000) no longer works.

All help would be appreciated!

HELP: Sticky Shutter on G617?
in Medium Format
Posted
Hi all,

I shot a roll of film last week that was completely black so this weekend when
I went out shooting with my G617 I took careful note of how it was all
operating.

I soon found out why! Sometimes, when I hit the shutter button (via cable
release) both on the body or on the lens, the cock lever (not sure what this
is called) only comes back 2/3 of the way and doesn't take a photo. If I
gently tap it with my finger it goes back to where it should be and takes the
photo.

Can anyone shed some light on how to fix this? I'm guessing something is
sticky in the shutter operation? I can work around it for the time being by
manually using my finger but I'm not very happy considering I have only had
the camera for less than 2 months (and it only came with a 40 day warranty)!

Cheers,
