Amazing photos everyone.. loved them all

another consideration would be the Canon EF-S 15-85mm wide enough and longer than the 55mm f2.8 :)

Hello ~ while you are on a Budget, may I suggest a reversal ring. It is a less expensive way to explore
the Macro world... then you can keep saving up for the better macro lenses out there..
Best

Thank you Ross, for sharing that tidbit of info on your D7000 vs D7100.
I have had my 'eye' on the D7100 for about 2 months now...trying to save up...

In Addition to what other have posted for you, you can tweak your digital photos in your software editing like LR.
Also there is another company that has software maybe a plug in, that give you a specific look film/Slide example Fuji Velvia, Kodachrome etc
however I forget that companies name.... Best
link for LR how to..
1st. Jeff Spirer, no rock concerts, mosh pits, dance parties, actors....must of been a quiet week in CA.

Why not at D5100 for around $496 new, then you will have a few extra $$ to get
35mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.8 and 18-105 or Sigma/Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 + flash ??
just another thought :) you could get a Nikon 40mm f2.8 for a regular lens & close-up too!

I saw this ad online earlier today....
For a limited time, DigitalRev has the Nikon D7000 DSLR Camera Body available for
$779.00
maybe this is in your reach...
