    what focal length? did you use a polorizer (sky on the left looks much lighter than sky on the right)? it looks very sunny--how did you deal with the contrast? flash?

     

    in contrast to other raters, I like the shallow depth of field!

  1. nice work. I love pacific coast waterfalls (none of mine are up--yet--from a CA trip this summer) my only peice of advice would e to use a longer shutter time, I personally like less detail in the water and the most "ghosty" look that 5 sec. or so gives. This and the others in your gallery are very nice composition wise (its always hard to find that perfect bend in the river ;)).

    I feel like this is your best picture posted to date. This is almost good enough to be sold as a stock photo. I like the mood this casts: a dim, fancy bar. Minor things...

    a) the crease in the table cloth bothers me. Maybe pull it taught and put weights on it outside of the view of the shot?

    b) I think a larger height difference between the rims of the glasses would be good, like by moving green forward and red backwards.
