You're kidding, right?
-
Looking for feedback on this photo - composition and sharpness.

I'm looking for feedback
AND info on sites for helping identify different dragonflies. Ideas?
-
After three years of trying, I managed to get some decent shots of a
Hummingbird Moth today. Amazing little creatures.
-
Is the background here (leaves and water) TOO colorful for this
Dragonfly? All comments appreciated.

This tiny spider appears to be eating a honey bee who appears to be
eating a Japanese beetle? Doesn't make sense to me. How could this
come about? I stayed for about an hour and aside from some shifting
of legs, nobody seemed to make much progress. All comments welcome.

This looks a lot better than with the framing. Would have liked a bit more space to include the wingtip and the rest of the front legs - but VERY sharp and colors are great. I'm glad you re-posted.

New to close-ups of insects. All input much appreciated. Thanks

Looking for input on this shot. Thanks!

Looking for input on this House Finch shot. All comments appreciated!

I'd like to make the best of this photo. All constructive criticism
most welcome.

This shot would have benefitted from 1)shooting at a lower angle, 2)shooting so that the eye/cheek, etc. aren't shaded (or use fill flash) and 3) if you didn't cop so tightly- it needs more room top and right IMHO.
Are these bird ground-nesters?

With the full moon coming tomorrow night, I thought this would be a
good time to post this shot of a Big Brown Bat...
-
This buck paused for a moment at the top of a small hill. Two does
below me had caught his attention.
I like this shot because of the intense, proud look of the buck.
Any suggestions to make the most of this shot would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.

Took this shot while on a canoe trip last week- the trip was cut
short due to a blizzard. The gloomy grayness of the water (and the
weather) contrasted sharply with the brightness of the leaf. I'd
like to make the most of this photo- any ideas for improvement?

Hi: Looking for critiques/suggestions for this photo of newly-
hatched painted turtles. All input welcome!
-
This is very well done, Jody. Can't find anything to criticize...
-
Good job of focussing on the eye, and excellent BG. Could use more room to right and at top, though. Good shot.
-
Looking for feedback on this osprey shot. I had hoped to catch him
catching a fish, but he pulled up before hitting the water.

Thanks for the input, everyone. Appreciate the compliments.
Funny how the 4/4 ratings are always anonymous, huh? I'd love to see some of their photos. Must all be spectacular...

I'm not sure why the whites look so hot here???
This same photo can be seen here: http://www.naturephotographers.net/imagecritique/ic.cgi?a=vp&pr=39978&b=vg3&st=0&la=231&ph=3&sid=21893&u=21893
and the shot looks a lot better. Could the "Save for the Web" requirement for this site degrade the quality like this?

The BG for this shot was a snowy/icy river, so it shows as all white
with no details. Does this work? Ways to improve this shot?
