I bought it off a regular eBay seller who had 12 months of good, positive feedback... from reading his feedback it seems like he has bought & sold cameras & lenses mostly.

If you live in the same city as a seller, you may be able to inspect the camera in person before bidding. Unfortunately in my case the seller was in Sydney and I live over here in Perth so it was not possible, however I ended up with a fantastic camera that I'm very happy with!

Hi Jarrah,

I picked up a second hand EOS 33 on eBay.com.au a couple of weeks ago for AUD$280 - its condition is as new, it is like it was bought yesterday. I absolutely love it, although I was pretty fortunate to find one in such pristine condition.

I saw an EOS 30 + canon EF 50mm f1.8 + BP-300 battery grip go for AUD$300 a few weeks ago too so there are definately cheaper ways to go than forking out AUD$800 on a new EOS 30v. That means more money to buy more goodies.
