  1. This is absolutely gorgeous! I read on one of your other photos that you use Arcsoft panorama maker. Is that a good program? I have been using autostitch lately which has worked wonders for me although it doesn't work with all panoramas and you can only use jpegs. Anything is better than Photoshop's photomerge...I hear it is going to be much better in CS3 though. I really like your panoramas, keep it up!

Flawless masking job. I like this photo, but i think it could be stronger if it was a little more subtle. Instead of completely desaturating the background, try desaturating it down maybe to maybe 25% or so. This way the plants you want will still jump out like crazy, but it won't look artificial. Instead they will just look like the brightest color around in their naturally subdued world. In my opinion the whole, 'desaturate everything but a flower' is kind of overdone, and a photo like this can be made to be much stronger when the effect is more subtle and not so cliche.

I would have pointed the camera down a little to crop out those plants and so you could see their feet, that would have made for a very clean photo I think. Very interesting how they are sitting back to back though, gives me a feeling of isolation or lonliness. Cool photo.

Wow normally I am not a huge fan of photos like these with motion blur, but I like what you have done with this one quite a bit. It looks very distorted and strange, a little disturbing in a way. Nice job!

Interesting subject matter for an abstract, but to me this doesn't really look abstract, it just looks like a blurry underexposed picture of three bees. I can see from your other photos that you are clearly a capable photographer, so this kind of throws me off. I guess I am just not sure what you are really going for with this image.
