I have found some Kiev 88 bodies on the web for sale, but
they list a 88, 88C, 88m and 88Cm. I know that the "C"
means crank, but what is "m"? Also, it shows chrome and
solid black models.

I use the Gitzo 410 series tripods. I have 3 of them all with the Bogen gear heads on them. These are pretty heavy though. I use them for my Mamiya C330f and RB67 without a problem. It is the only tripod I trust now a days! The gear head is very usefull. Drop in your local camera shop and check them out, you will want to pick up a few for your self.

In response to my own question... excuse me, it was a 55mm shift, not the 150mm shift. Pardon the typo, I know I would have gotten straightened out quickly!

Does anyone know if the lenses for the Cambron ProSix, sold by
Cambridge in Shutterbug, will also fit the Kiev 88? The reason
why I ask is that they have a 150mm Shift lens! What is the full
lens line available from Kiev for the 88?

Thanks for your help guys...

I am looking for a good flash to use with a Kiev 88. I use a Sunpack
544 with my C330f and RB67. Any recommendations?
Final thought on Kiev?

Ok guys (and gals)...
After careful research of the Kiev 88 system, I have decided to buy one, and I might add that for some reason I am very excited about it. I didn't get this excited even when I got my first RB67. Anyway... My question is: Where to buy from? I like the fact that I can get it in black from Kalimex S.R.O., but they are out of the country. I e-mailed KievUSA inquiring about the black model from them, I have not heard back yet. I like the quality control that KievUSA performs on their cameras (seal replacement, adding crank, etc...). Does anyone have anything to say about that? I can get it from Continent Wide, it would be cheaper, but would not have the crank already installed. Would it be worth it to buy the crank and install it myself? Has anyone ever done that? No that I have decided to buy one, and which model, and which accessories, now I need another push. Help!!!

Thanks!
