I have a chance to purchase the lens with very good price. Any feedback would

be very much appreciated. How does the optic compare to some similar range of

glass especially Nikon. I understand that it is no longer produce and my

concern is if the autofocus will work with the Nikon D200.

I am in the midst of purchasing an F3HP bundled with the 35-135mm AIS

lens. Not much information about it on the net except same optic with

the AF and not too bad performance wise. Try to buy the body only but

the seller prefer to sell it as a set. Appreciate any comments on the

lens.

I have a used 55 2.8 AF micro Nikkor, a lens introduced I think prior to the 60mm micro. It?s a terrific lens which close up to 1:1 by itself. Anybody can tell me what is the working distance of this lens. No manual to refer and not much info could be gathered from the net for this sharp lens.

I am finalising a deal to buy a Nikon 500mm EDf4 P AIS lens. I read

somewhere that the tripod collar is not that solid. As such I am

planning to buy a Kirk Quick release plate to use with the lens.

Would that be any help or it just simply to facilitate fast handling

while using a tripod.

I have a same dilemma and intending to modify my recently acquired TC20E to be used with the non AFS lens. Correct me if I'm wrong, I understand that the TC20E will still autofocus with the AFS lens even after the modification. Just in case in future I'll be able to afford AFS or AFI lens.

Well actually I plan to sell off the AIS 180mm ED lens and replace it with the 200mm f3.5 lens. I know it sound foolish but the price of both are almost the same. I guess the NAS bug is hitting me suddenly. However I am not too sure how good the image quality would be with this lens.

I am looking forward to buy a used Pentax 645N for my

MF set up. Currently I have 2 offers to consider with

the same body of Pentax 645N but with different lens

set up. The first come with FA 45mmf2.8 and FA

150mmf2.8. The second se come with FA 45-85mmf4.5 and

FA 80-160mmf4.5 lens. All lenses are autofocus and the

price different is not that much, probably around USD

300 more for the zoom set up. Is it worth to buy the

zoom set or the fix focal lens? I realise that the

zoom will be more heavy and bulky but my reading

suggest that the quality of pictures of the zoom are

as good as prime. Is it true especially for medium

format? I also love the convenient of not changing

lens and my shooting mostly consist of landscape. For

telephoto I'll stick with my Nikon set up.

I just bought a used AS 17 for using SB 28 with my F3. I read

somewhere that it need battery. Is it true because I can't see any

indication that it need so.I dont have a manual with it unfortunately.

I have a chance to buy a Metz 50 MZ5 with a reasonable price. I was

told that the adapter for Nikon is the SCA 3401 but upon checking in

the Metz website the model is 3402. I would like to know if there is

any different between the two model especially using with the F100

body. Is the 3401 sufficient or I would have to buy the 3402. Thank

I was offer a good set of Nikonos III with the standard 35mm lens and

another lens,which I hardly could find any information about it. It

is a 28mm f2.8 LW lens. Look and feel like an AIS lens but different

from the Nikonos lens. Any information about this particular lens is

very much appreciated.

I came across a good condition Yashica T3 camera with a good price. I

believe it's the older model before the T4/Super. I was surprise to

find out it has the superscope too and a faster lens of f2.8. Does

anybody have any experience using this camera and how do you rate the

lens. The only downside I can see is the size is bigger.

I just inherited an old Leica screwmount camera from my father in law

from Switzerland. I would be very interested to know the exact model

of it. The serial number is 50183 and my reading suggest it's a Leica

I model. How rare is it and what is the value of it currently.It

comes with a interchangeable collapsible Leitz elmar 5 cm 1:3.5 lens.

I have a set of Bronica ETRSi system consist of body with prism

finder, 75 EII, 50 mm MC and 150 f3.5 EII. So far I�m happy with the

result except for the bulkiness compare to 35mm SLR. As such, I am

seriously considering the Fuji GA 645 Zi as a replacement. How good

is the quality compare to the ETRSi set? I heard good word about its

zoom lens except for being slow a bit but the compactnes is really

attractive to me.
