Hopefully soon because it is really annoying to that twice and other sites like 500px make it really easy going to upload a pic with all that data.
-
Am I to stupid or is there really no way to automatically read my IPTC Data that come with every photo I want to upload? No description, title and keywords are read by photo.net. This is 2018!!! I do not want to spend time on uploading data again that are already stored in the file I upload. And concerning keywords: It is not acceptable to enter every single keyword!!!!!
Any suggestions that can help me?
Nice regards

As an annoyed Adobe customer (due to trying to force me to subscribe), I am on the lookout for a substitute for all my Adobe SW (CS6 and LR6) because I cannot trust Adobe in future. This one looks pretty good and collegues have recommended it as well. So I will give it a try. Thank you for your info.

For the german speaking you may find help here: http://www.photoklau.de
where you can download a "first aid booklet" which will lead you through all necessary steps to be successful when you go after copyright infringers. I do it myself and it is now 50% of my income as photographer.

You have set ROC, GEM and DEE to neutral. Try to switch them OFF. I found them to be troublemakers.

Thanks for you inputs. Nothing worked. With the original SW it works fine. One day I will find out...

Hi,
I try to scan colored documents with Vuescan. During scanning the document is shown in colors, after finishing the scan it is black and white only (in prescan and final scan). I tried several options in the menue but could not find out what was wrong. Any ideas?
Nice regards. Peter

First start the scanner and wait until the light on the front stops blinking. Then start the software. That should work.

Thank you for your inputs. The DIY lensprofile is not an option for me. That is too much of work for me. Maybe I ´ll give DXO a try. Nice regards. Peter

Hi to all,
does anybody have or know of a source for a lens profile for LR5.3? I do not want to use DPP for developing just because of the profile. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Nice regards. Peter

First you should do a AF microadjustment of your camera-lens-combination. Then you will notice that your 100-400 lens is a quite capable lens. It will become even better with a 5D3 because the AF is by far more exact than any camera (except 1DX) before. The next level would be the 200-400 which is an awesome lens, one of the best lenses you can mount to your camera, as one of the german magazines stated after a test of the lens and what I can confirm. For BIF I would not want to use it handhold because of the weight. But with a Wimberley head it is easy to handle for that purpose. BTW, I kept my 100-400 for trekking and landscape shots.
Just my 2 cent

Hi to all,

I went from 5D to 5D Mk II and now 5D Mk III. The Mk III is by far the best camera I ever had. I see a clear difference in image quality between the Mk II and the Mk III. But this might have to do with the phenomenal AF which is by far more exact than all what was before. For me the clear winner is the Mk III. The Mk II is resting as a backup body.

Hi Laura, Siegfried,
thank you for your help so far. I do not remember exactly wether it came out of a root or the soil next to the tree. On this photo you look straigt down onto it. It is growing vertical and then bent sideward 90 degree. With Ganoderma lucidum you might be right, but then this is a rather young one, or?
Sorry for the late answer but I was off for a few days.
Nice regards

Hello to all, lately I could take a photograph of this mushroom or plant, but until now I could not find out what it is. Maybe someone of you knows it or knows where and how to search for it. Any comments are welcome.
http://www.photo.net/photo/16535484

Nice regards
Peter

The limit will be the max pixel of 30.000 on the longest side in tif and jpg format. You have to save it in the photoshop own large file format to work on it if it is that big and then go back to tif.
Good luck

I would recommend it. I would also recommend to do the HDR merging later on the computer, even though the camera does a good job on this as can be seen here: http://www.photo.net/photo/16104169
The adjustments are too limited in camera.
Nice regards

The already loaded lens data are still there. You cannot connect to the server to load new ones. That is all I could find out.
