I'm just learning... and tonight in the community there is a parade of lights...For those who don't know what a parade of lights is it's when the fishing boats yachts put up Christmas lights and sail around the harbour and let fireworks off. Now my question is... All I have for lenses is a beer can lens 70-210mm and a 50mm. I think I know I can't use the 50mm. But what setting would I start with on the 70-210? Any and all help appreciated.
Thanks

Well as far a sunset goes,in my humble opinion evry sunset is an original, kind of like a snowflake.Mother nature works originals everyday. This is what I read somewhere else,I felt the same way at one point then read the article that stated what i just said and it honestly changed my opinion. There are alot of sunset pictures out there but very few (if any at all)that exactly the same.
Cheers :)

Can anyone tell me anything about these? Are they still made are they a decent
lens?I'am not a pro by any means but dont want to buy junk either.I can buy a
17-35 cosina for $100.00 Canadian. It is a Minolta mount and should fit my
Sony @100. I appreciate any help you can give me. It may be a stupid question
but I'am not that bright lol.

I wouldn't say I have a chip but maybe a little hesitant in posting.I'am not a professional nor do I portray myself to be.I'am just someone who love to take pictures. So thanks for the input. It is my first DSLR.I went with the Sony because my Minolta lenses fit it.I guess I'am going to have to take a course to figure it out.LOL

I just recently bought a Sony a100,it seems a little awkward to navigate
through the menus, does anyone else find this?It aslo seems a little noisy but
is not a big deal to me.What are some of your thoughts on this?Does anyone else
have anything to add? Please only respond if you have anything intresting or
advice on this camera.I have posted on this site before and got alot of
childish imature answers.I only ask because I dont know, and want to.
Thanks
