How are you Vikram? It would be nice if you could capture the details in the not so lighted part of the mountains

It is good to have your comment. Appreciate it.
Your are right it was scanned from a print and hence there would be finger prints on the glass. Although I cleaned the scanner glass from inside also recently it needs a through cleaning. I do not know the technique to directly scan a flim

Thanks. Would need a higher power flash. As these subjects are normally at a distance. But it will scare them away

the blue colour is too dark to the extent that it is distrcting. Can you reduce the intensity of that?

I liked the water and the ripples that I could capture. Basically I
like taking such landscapes. Cropped the top part with big mass of
black clouds. Any comments will be appreciated

I find it a bit underexposed. The background has come out too dark. Some details there would make it a better photograph. The lense reading for exposure is based on the middle light you have. Try to increase the exposure to 1 or 2 levels higher

Good sharpness and contrast. Distribution of massess is also good

Good composition, I like it. If there was a bird or cloud in the sky on the right top corner then it would have looked even better

If you had moved the model a little to the right and cropped the left part it would look better. The background at the top and right is distracting

Grand Canyon is a great place to be. Photographer or otherwise. Tempted to say that I envy you :)). I can see you had a great trip and that you have taken a lot of photographs. Inspite of the challenges you have taken a lot of good ones.
I was asking My Father about some of the photo's I had taken recently and showed him this site and what we all do here.
I will certainly let him know your replies ( well on tel, as I am back in Bangalore). He has worked in the field of art for last 50 odd years and spots things in a flash being a judge on numerous occassions. He was interested in knowing what you felt about his observations.
