It is good to have your comment. Appreciate it.

Your are right it was scanned from a print and hence there would be finger prints on the glass. Although I cleaned the scanner glass from inside also recently it needs a through cleaning. I do not know the technique to directly scan a flim

I liked the water and the ripples that I could capture. Basically I

like taking such landscapes. Cropped the top part with big mass of

black clouds. Any comments will be appreciated

I find it a bit underexposed. The background has come out too dark. Some details there would make it a better photograph. The lense reading for exposure is based on the middle light you have. Try to increase the exposure to 1 or 2 levels higher

How about trying depth of field option on this one? majority of the composition space has far off view and is blurr

Isn't there any activity around the place? Possibly Birds (asking for animals would be too far fetched :)). ) Catching some movements in the compositions would look good I suppose

We did talk about the tree branches being lost. That's when he suggested reducing the blue colour prominence (lighten it) by editing the photograph. That way the tree, which is the main attraction in the composition, would gain prominence

Grand Canyon is a great place to be. Photographer or otherwise. Tempted to say that I envy you :)). I can see you had a great trip and that you have taken a lot of photographs. Inspite of the challenges you have taken a lot of good ones.

I was asking My Father about some of the photo's I had taken recently and showed him this site and what we all do here.

I will certainly let him know your replies ( well on tel, as I am back in Bangalore). He has worked in the field of art for last 50 odd years and spots things in a flash being a judge on numerous occassions. He was interested in knowing what you felt about his observations.
