Some times yes,all it depends on which was your preference,if you look for an  abstract nature image like in this occasion or you look for other kind of image less minimalist including more elements.

I like a lot your composition as it is, because I love the minimalism and  conceptual image ,although maybe for my taste,my preference will be to take into account to make two editions more ,the first one increasing the contrast to have a graphic vision, although we sacrify some details in both sides of the Histogram and other one with less contrast looking for a soft and flat vision. All of these as a visual exercise to chose the most appealing for my taste.Best regards and nice work!

Somes times I can´t  avoid seeing figures or estranges shapes when I looked abstract photography, this is a clear example about it,Now I imagine a face,  I see a human face sinking in a liquid surface like petrol blended with a rusty layer floating over it,I´m impressed with it...The eye is like a human eye perfect, casual, but perfect, thas face has a nose a bit deform but is something like a nose and also I have seen an open mouth,Well at the end our vision play with our illusion creating things where there isn´t nothing.Beautiful abstract alternating this narrow color´s palette  with this brilliance tonalities.I attach you remarked in red the face that I had seen.Best regards

I like this exercise of composition and imagination from your side

Maybe I agree with the comment about the boy dressed in red waking away which distract me a bit, although if we take into a count that is a street image the boy was a real situation into your frame, of course you can wait a minute leaving the boy out of the frame or erase via PS ,but in any case that topic will be something from your side like preferences or criteria because you maybe as a photographer don't like to remove nothing from the original scenery and this is good for me because obliges us to do continuous exercises of composition.

I like this mixture of graphic appearance and as a background an image not graphic

Photography as an art, imho don't need any title, I don't know if you are agree Gunnar or my colleagues, but in general the majority of us have the habit (and others the obsession) to put any title to the images, finding any or more sense to implement at the image,I think that is very important not forget that photography by itself must be express all that we want without titles... The image speakes by itself .By the way excellent job.Best regards

  1. Simply, although well seen ,I see excellent detail and definition. This touch of vignette tool works very well because help to the viewer to concentrate about the main subject, this is an aesthetic vision about a beautiful flowers. Simply I love it. This is a clear example of a simply subject turned in a great and beautiful image.I think that your post edition is good and works fine.Best regards

    Of course Jeff,here are:

My PS edition is Spanish I try to translate de tools: Apply selective Correction over only the  black channel in + - % (For example  blues, whites ,reds, neutral etc...In this case we are going to change the followings colors: Magentas at  +100% Whites at -22%,Neutral +10%, Cian -90% and blacks at +55% .After it increase the brightness at +20% this last level is aprox because my monitor isn´t calibrated, according this point all that you need is to preserve  details on the sand. Remember these % only in Blacks but you need to change the color channel via  drop-down menu as I told you.In fact our edition is good because I think that all is about our preferences, you always present us good post editions.Best regards

Always is a pleasure see other of yours magical seascapes...Always is good to find other possibilities as you test in this case .I´m not a fan of pastel tones, but I admit that I like it in some circunstances. I would like to test some adjustments because I think that in your image needs a bit of power without walking away of this tones, for this I  modified  some values + or -  about whites, magentas, blacks, neutrals and blues .If you need this parameters don´t doubt contact me. As you can see in this edition the softness is more evident maybe works better with the pastel tones...

    Take and good job

I like this image for several reasons ,for this diagonal frame, sometimes works fine, this is the case, adding  attractive to the scene and  two, for the pose of the model and the way who she hold the necklace

On the other hand John,to be honest I admit that  I would like to see the background a little bit more out of focus to isolate the model and concentrate our sight to emphasize better her beauty and the pose. Maybe to much elements in that room...By the way nice image.Best regards

In my opinion is a beautiful portrait, maybe a little bit out of the classics but fresh and original and this is the value.I love this atmosphere that you show us.Best regards

  2. Of course, beautiful,at first look reminds me of an aquarium scene, some kind of sea flowers,is really nice Dror and this pano works fine perfectly.Take care.

Pd. That touch of motion add emphasis to the real scene.Only a question:That touches of blue dominant are due to the white balance?Or is a manipulation colour in your post edition?Only a curiosity...

  3. I leave a comment in your previous one, I prefer this one for two topics: One, I think that this frame is better because in the upper side the circle breathe a bit more as I suggest about the older, the last point is this mixture of car lights & lighting that the parking have giving to the scenery an aesthetic color palette. Nice job! Best regards

  4. I think that this image is amazing, you captured this still life very good,if we rotate 90º to left this shape reminds me of woodpecker.Take care...

PD.The winter in Barcelona is ending ;-) 10º in the morning - 19º in the afternoon

    Masai

I would like to see this image from other perspective, where the photographer will bring us a close vision of that ritual or moment, coming us more in contact with Masai .In my opinion in photojournalism/documentary, as the image is, the proximity to the subject is necessary in the majority of cases, the reader must be in" touch" to understand better the ceremony sense. Best regards

Thanks for your comment. In all my abstracts where we can see motion is done via camera directly.I test this tech since 3 years ago,the duo shutter speed-camera motion is the key to find the motion effect that you want not more, not less.Difficult in itself but possible trying a lot of tests...Other point is the subject to capture not all objects works fine.I you like this kind of photography I would like to encouragement you to test.In my web you can find several done with different subjects. You are welcome to have a look.Best regards

The scene showed is beautiful, the textures in the rocks and the contrast between tonalities enhances the composition and the spot,I like the different materials that we see at same time, green grass, water and rocks.I like a lot the gray color from the volcano land.best regards
