I'll have to disagree, I don't think this image is tacky at all, it's blunt, almost surprising, but not tacky. The simple, repeating curves against the negative space, with the sexual and sensual aspects woven in make this a very non-in-your-face, peaceful representation of a woman's most intimate area. By no means would I consider this to be 'gynecological.' If that were the case, I'd say the text book in question was quite remiss on some important details ;-)

I don't know that I can critique this other than to say that you've got a great image here. You captured a real spirit in their eyes. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks all for the comments. The black spots are seeds that have blown off simply from being 'handled' by a four year old. I had debated taking them out but left them for some reason :P Ken, I see what you are saying about the lack of action. I liked the anticipation of the image, you know what's coming but I guess you're right in the sense that no one really likes to watch a guy light fireworks as much as they like to see them in the sky (if that makes sense, lol).

As far as being a 'technically perfect' shot, I don't know how this rates, but for WOW factor, this is a very cool shot! I'd love to have this as a poster about 4 feet high by 6 feet wide. Nicely done!

I like the 'machine and nature' juxtapostion of the image. That being said, if you could clone those leaves off the nose it might help to seperate the scene. Nice first contri. How was space camp?

Very well done. Great image. EDIT- I like the clutter in the foreground as it implies that there was great commotion at this seemingly serene setting. Without the debris, you have a picture of a house on a plain, those are all to common.

This cloud put on quite a show over an old New England barn.

I like the 'churning' effect of the ocean. It looks calm, yet full of potential energy.

I like the contrast of nature and industry.

This stallion was on alert because of a plastic bag we were carrying

his carrots in. He didn't know what to make of the crinkilng of the

bag, it made him very nervous. You can see it in his eye.
