I loved the shadows the clouds were making, it gave a very peaceful

feel to the area. This photo is totally original, no manipulation

I wanted to capture the joy this young lady experienced when

she 'rescued' this moth from the jaws of a cat. The cause of her joy

is purposely out of focus.

This photo was taken at sunset, colors are natural light. I do have several others as well that I didn't zoom so closely. I will check out the size as well, because I notice I've looked at other shots in the larger mode, it's difficult to stay with the feeling of the shot. Thanks for the info!!

I really enjoy seeing layers as it creates depth and texture.

Contrasts also add visual diversity. For me anyway..imho. But then,

In my most humble opinion, when I looked at this photo, I was able to look at the whole photo and everything works together. The good, the bad, the ugly and it is perfect. This photo could be depicting the transparency of our lives. We walk on in the ignorance of our knowledge never realizing the potential that we blindly walk past. To all others however, we are in some ways still very transparent, as shown by the water. hmmmm.

I'm still learning the importance of light and cameras. I often take

multiples of the same pix with different settings so I can see the

difference. This helps me to learn what settings would be best used

in various situations. This particular photo, I was trying to stay

away from zooming (I love to zoom) and pull in the beauty with the

lighting that was available from the sunset. I notice that when I

zoom, it changes the colors & effects of the scenery.
