<p>I cannot see thumbnails on the website as well as my own gallery. I can click on the blank space and get the photo however. Using win7 and tried various browsers but no luck. I wonder if it is only my account for some reason. Anyone have any ideas?<br>

<p>My D700 did it again....it simply will not power up with any of three batteries. Interestingly this camera has failed to power up 4 times after an airline flight. The mystery deepens. I will send to Nikon for repair and hope to find out the problem</p>

<p>I tried two different EN-EL3e batteries, apparently fully charged, and neither would bring the camera out of its dormant state. Interestingly, after sitting on the desk for a couple of days, the camera came to life again and now seems to work ok....until the next time of course. So it doesn't appear to be a battery/charger problem. I'm beginning to think it might be a condensation problem between the AC indoors and the humid outdoors. Although it seems to handle the extremes ok, the problem may accumulate over a few cycles of cooling and heating. I just wish I could track down the problem before the next critical photo trip.</p>

Sometimes my D700 will not power up and the LCD is totally blank. After sitting stationary for 2-3 days, it will operate normally. The problem is intermittent. This has happened twice this past year and I cannot trust it to be there when needed. Changed the battery, lens, and CF card but nothing works when it is in this dormant state. Any ideas or suggestions?....humidity problems? Static electricity?</p>

I owned and used the 40gb model for about a year but then the pins for the flash card connection started working loose and would drive into the connector when the card was pushed in. I would have thought the connector should be more recessed to allow the card to be better aligned before engaging the pins.
