Too cropped (actually, 100% crop), but it is more pictoric this way. I
didn't have a macro at the moment.

It's difficult to catch a lightning in daylight. Well that was my
first attempt and I had to take about 60 photos and this was the only
one that caught a lightning. I suppose I'll need more practice...

I know this image isn't very good technically (there are awesome macro
photos in this site), but it is all I could do with a monopod.
It is quite curious how the bee seems to be loking towards the camera.

Isn't it unfair that the people that uses their vehicle to work have
such "humble" vehicles in comparison to the ones that just use it to
go to work?

This palace needed some sort of ancient looking, even if it was taken
with a digital slr.

Well, I have done a bit of optimization in the colors of the lower part. However, since this has been my first attempt in layer masks, the limit between the two layers can be seen in some places. Nevertheless, I think this attempt has more impact and seems more interesting. Thanks for the critique again.
Ioritz.

Thanks for the constructive critique, Theo. I admit your approach seems a bit more attractive, it gives life to something doesn't seem to have, I liked it a lot. I'll see what I can do, I have all that area in a masked layer, so I see quite a lot ways to do that.
Thanks again, I'll try it and will post it here.

I think the previous modification of the photo was a bit too saturated.

The horizon is quite centered, but this is the best I could do in the
position I was and with the lens I had.

Hi Stephane, thans for the comment. The drops were the main reason for which I decided to convert this photo to B/W, since the hard saturated red color of the petals made the drops quite dull. Here I send the photo in color.

A rose in a rainy day.

Thanks, Dough, it seems that NeatImage makes a really good job in what it is intended for. I agree that this image feels more pleasant in a smoother representation and would surely be more usable in color. I generally use the noise reduction tools in RSE, but I see NeatImage is a lot more powerful, so I should give it a try. Thanks for the constructive critique.

I shot this photo in the evening, in a city center. That's why the
water has red cast, owing to the street lights. To take this long
exposure (8 sec) I had to rest the camera in the bridge and hold it
with my hands. What I most like in this picture is the contrast
between the softness of the water and the crispness of the rocks.

Hi, I am from the Basque Country, and I find this photo quite familiar. What I most like in this photo is the composition, though I think it would be a bit better if we could see both arms.
This moment seems exciting, but try to capture the moment the harrijasotzale has to lift up the stone from the knees to the shoulder (when the stone is just in front of the stomatch), that moment is the one really critical and the one that most clearly shows the effort they make.
A wonderful photo,
Zorionak (Congratulations)!
Ioritz.

No, I didn't make any long exposure, in fact, the exposure is just 1/25 sec, at f1/3.5, ISO 640 and handheld (just in the limit, as the lens is 24mm).

This cathedral is beautiful during the day, but it converts into this
impressive building at night. For this photo, the gridlines in the
viewfinder of the camera became essential, even if I had to take
several photos to take a straight one.
The human hand in nature...
