I ordered my first KISS books this past season and have been super pleased. The are beautiful and durable and yes, simple. Plus I got a call from Kevin Swan himself not 10 minutes after submitting my first order - "just checking to see if I had any problems with the process." Printing across the gutter has opened up new design possibilities for me and all in all - highly recommended.

Tim, I was with pictage for almost 2 years and had problem after problem - bad prints, spam,
no customer service, high fees, misbillings. I dropped them at the end of 07 and now use
digilabs - www.digilabs.net. It is working out very well for me and would recommend them to
anyone who doesn't specifically need to use pictage's willowbook outfit (which is just about
anyone...)

I looked into them recently and they said I could buy a software program to allow me to use
their platform for printing. (I am running a Mac G5.) Don't remember how much the program
was but I decided to stay with Pictage for the moment...

Since this is your first wedding you really shouldn't try to do too much. I've read enough
responses on this forum that all counsel the same thing - and it is great advice - keep it
simple. That said, there is enough range with the 28-105 that you will be able to get a
variety of shots - that is assuming the glass is fast enough for the setting (see Gerald's &
George's comments.) Instead of renting another lens I think it would be a good idea to get
another body and load up the 50 to shoot concurrently. (not to mention the "backup
factor.")
Sounds like a great location for a wedding shoot! Have fun!
flush mount wedding albums or HP indigo press photo-books such as Blurb?

I second the Asuka reference as well as the flushmount ANYDAY over the Blurb book. I tried Blurb for a guest sign in book and it wasn't a good book - pen depressions leaked through, ink smeared and the paper/print quality was poor. I now use the Asuka books for sign-in books and "parent albums" if budget is an issue and recommend the KISS books for custom albums. Can't go wrong with either Asuka or KISS.
