  1. This is a random shot of curiosity and excitement from the children of

a friend when visiting his home after a days work. It was not staged

and children make the dynamics through their burgeoning curiosity. It

was a dark house as their was a single bulb hanging from he ceiling.

My little point and shoot did its best! Thanks in advance for your

honest critiques as any and all input is positive in helping me

approach environments and capturing potential moments in the future. PEZ

    Snowy Owl

the thrushes or grass stalks behind completely disturb my sight. The smooth and blaring detail of the owl is spectacular but...it then accentuates the double vision background. I love the subject, dislike the background...maybe some clever cropping could be in order.

    Boulevard

surreal over exposure. The black of the trees in contrast to the overexposed umbrella is fantastic. Overall subject matter leaves a little flavor a little oomph which is lost by the soft detail lost on the old man.
  2. I am not a well disciplined photographer yet but I am working on

it. Please work over this picture as it is unedited and give me

your best suggestions for framing the island locations well or

wrong. Was the lighting washed out or adequate, etc. I am

extremely interested in what is good, great or needs work or lots of

    it!!

Thanks for taking your time to help contribute to the spread of

    beautiful picture takers!! -PEZ

  3. I am not new to Photo.net. I am a fond returning gallery viewer

finally throwing a few of my own Photos in the mix. I look closer

at my own photos which I once thought should be Postcards and now to

chose which to promote to web material...so many end up as better

    memories than outstanding photos.

I am interested in placing photos of mine up for critique to be open

for full opinions. I try to compose shots for spacial quality for

correct upon first shot without need for cropping. I do need

critique towards guidance on how to better control lighting, and

shading. As well timing for periferal items whether they are/are

not distracting, or possibly even complimentary to the composition.

Thank you all in advance for your constructive criticism to help me

better train my eye for photography!!
