Proof that the beaches of Waikiki are filled with people from every
walk of life...

Thoughts, anyone?
Thx,

Like it a lot, but have a technique question. Did you do this in one shot or did you have to take one while zooming and the other one still?

Thanks for the great input, "E" -- much appreciated. Learning WHY a picture rates what it does is a lot more useful than just a number. :-)
FWIW, it was the contrast with the looming, "souless" giant that I was shooting for. Oh well, that's why it's subjective I guess. :-)

I wasn't able to stay in this location until sunset, but even in
mid-afternoon her beauty is obvious...

LOVE all the colors!
Which flash was used?

Ok, so I posted this from my recent San Francisco trip to share with
everyone something I thought was kinda funny. I was also impressed at
my 70-200mm f/4 lens, given this was shot at the crack of dawn at
200mm with VERY low light and at ISO 3200 so I could hand-hold it. It
was seriously cold too, so I'm also surprise my teeth shaking didn't
ruin the picture. :-)
Anyhow, people have been telling me they really like the picture so I
thought I'd see what you all think.
Cheers,

Unfortunately I couldn't afford to hold onto my Canon 180mm macro
lens. Before it left me, however, I was able to snap off a few
pictures. This is probably the best of the lot and was hand-held.
The color saturation with this lens was AMAZING. Miles ahead of the
other macros I've tried. But the 180mm was just to bulky & heavy to
carry around on vacation trips and steep hikes. I love my EFS 60mm,
mind you, but this 180mm classic will be sorely missed...
