The Brigada Romana Parra has chosen a unique place, even unknown

by the common public: the tunnel under the dunes, connecting the

Zeepreventorium to the beach.

Brigada Romana Parra is a collectif movement of artists in Chile, giving

way of their ideology by wallpainting. Their history starts in the years

1940, during a period of manifestations against political change of

power. In one of the actions, a young militant Ramona Parra was shot.

Since then, they put her name forward as the symbol of a artistique

movement filling the streets of Santiago with illegal art and political

propaganda, pleading for obtaining the human rights. Present

wallpainting must be seen in the flow of growing globalisation as an

protest against the dominating capitalism.
