Does any one use 50mm MC lens. I find this lens has some obvious light dispersion, that is some extra color at the edge of white line, when shooting very far object of white spot or strip. Some are purple and red. The image looks like soft.

 

Does it mean the lens is poor in some area ??

Hi I am Teddy:

 

One of my young nephew, he like to play camera, recently give up film, and give to me free a set of ETRS, with 3 lens, I think I will keep using it until the end of film because if the CCD/COMS has to meet the resolution and picture quality as 645 film. It will take another many years and huge amount of money with it.

 

It is time to own something was expansive before but become cheap now. 120 type camera is one of those.

 

Look, The Canon 135 size digital price is about the same as a set of Hasselblad, I prefer Hasselblad.

I have both ELMAR 90mm f4, and ELMARIT 90mm f2, when mount on my M6, the focus is different, it is about 1 feet different in between when I see the right overlap in the viewfinder.

 

Also, I took some photo with the ELMAR 90mm f4, yes, the focus is not right. I have to reduce about 1 feet from the scale of the lens.

I also have this lens, but I found that when I see through the lens, it look like an eye shape when f/3.5 wide open, the front lens and the aperture seems not aligned. The photo I took are strange, the light spot outfocus area look like an eyes instead of round. Does anyone have such a problem???
