very nice trick. when i do this, i always ask the model to drop the thumb a little so the sun will sit right on top of the palm and not the thumb. and i ask the model to look at his/her palm. thanks for sharing.

actually, the frame is great for the message -- it's birth (and growth). of course, art is anything that exist that has beauty upon one's judgment. it might have called for softness on the frame all around.
your folder is wonderful. i like the future pro there in sophie fondling the camera.

it's not the ultimate wonderfully executed shot but definitely not a "cliche". you can study and analyze it and you can write a full page of words to describe it. the image is not ordinary. i love it.
