1.
I am getting frustrated to all ends. I have CS3 which will not read the new RAW format with my 5DMark II and the Digital Photo Professional just keeps crashing when you open the damn folder.
Has anyone got this resolved. I really do not want to purchase CS4 at this time just to use a Canon supplied with software you can't use.
I have an awsome rocking system so the space and memory is not the issue here.

  2. Many thanks to all those who responsed. In my partners words "Just go and shoot and then worry about the licenses needed". I am of course just the opposite and worry about every detail.

I have been told that my request can be heard at the next town council meeting in a month.

  3. I haven't heard back from the organizer or their members. They requested a price list for print services and so I sent them a list that I viewed as reasonable. I also offered a private session to all the members who were interested.

On a side note I sent an inquiry to my local town hall and they returned this message "As a transient business eg. photographer I would be required to obtain a transient permit to conduct business should I cover a show in this manner again." I'm looking into this on more detail and will keep everyone posted.

  4. I alive in a small city and have been inquiring to the local town halls to

receive permission to use local parks in regards to scheduling photoshoots with

    individuals and car owners.

The one small village says that I need a transient license at the fee $700 and

hold a $2 million liablity policy. Is this normal practice?

I have my small business license and the photography only takes up a 1/8 of my

whole business practices. (It's a family business which offers other services).

Secondly do wedding photographers have to hold the same license?

    Thanks for you input...

    Laura

  5. I have taken several photos of classic cars during an open air autoshow in our

community park. I have sent the organization a web link to view the images

that I feel are suitable for show. The question I have can I sell the images

of the cars without the owner's consent. the cars are not full bodies and they

do not have license plates viewable. By the way I live in Canada; if that

    makes any difference.

Thanks in advance for all your answers.
00H732-30868884.jpg.9e6a8872f9435f60942667f7ea433ff6.jpg
