Any ideas for shooting my guitars. Something other than the traditional long shot. MF, 35 or digital? Lenses? Lighting?
Thank you,

I had one for awhile. I didn't mind the bulk, but having the meter is the prism instead of the body was a major mistake. Also if I remember correctly when putting the AE prism back on, you had to have the shutter speed knob set correctly. If not it would not work. Nikon had that perfected in the 60's.
Mine fits. I have a 67 F body & a beat up F2 prism. I had to unscrew the Nikon name plate & it works fine.

My Mamiya RB67 has a spot on the left side of the body to hold the darkslide.

Le Camera is no longer around. I was there once & the next time I was in the area it was gone.

I had 1 roll done at a local place & the prints & negatives were fine but the CD scans were also scratched. Take a look at your negatives.

Jeff,
You know if you have too much "junk", you know where you can send it!

If it's an MC lens then there is a problem with it. But if it's not MC, then there is no meter coupling & must be metered stopped down.

I don't have viewfinder problems with my Minolta's & my glasses. I miss a small part of the scene but not too bad.

According to a Manual Minolts lens index, the only 50mm macros were f3.5. The MD lenses were manual focus.

My 1st slr was an SRT 101. Essex Camera CLA'd it last year. I mostly shoot with an XK or SRT 102 or an XD5 now.

I've had the same problem with my working XK. To lower the mirror, twist the battery cover. I had Essex Camera in Carlstadt, NJ overhaul my XK. I have another XK with the same problem also.

I have a plain meterless F2 finder on my F.
