Dale mellor, Where do you people learn photography-the hidden face is the whole point of the picture this is what gives the picture impact- I suggest you take a serious look at enrolling in a course of photographic imaging, and if you try really hard, you may end up with a level 6 diploma, just like me!

Technically good-(apart from the blurred figure on the righ)t- but main subject of photo is the grand hall of the building- not the waiter -basic guidelines for composition are 1. Decide what is the main subject-2. Emphasise the main subject.- and 3. leave out anything that does not contribute to the main subject- I hope this helps. Ken

Very well done-for news/jounalism you do not have time to focus, or check exposure, or you miss the moment-you use hyperfocal focusing, and sunny 16 exposure. Excellent shot 6/6

Nice mood-Horizon doesn't work here dividing picture in two equal halves - it works sometimes if you have a balance, but as there are no clouds in the sky to balance the sea's ripples, the horizon would be better placed about 1/3 down from top of frame giving and earthy solid feeling to the image. If clouds were present, you could, if you so desired, put the horizon quite low in the picture frame - implying a dreamy ethereal effect- I hope this critique helps

View from my house of an annual event "Wings over Wairarapa" where
WW2 aircraft re-enact air battles and dog-fights, and give airobatic
