  1. I recently posted this photo and thought it would also make an

excellent No Words forum entry. Any and all photos welcome related

    life on the farm.<div>00SBu7-106202484.jpg.04f8fddc7e567e1ecfd2f6085c01025e.jpg</div>

  2. Windows are everywhere: Small windows, large windows, decorated

windows, boring windows, windows with or without a view, peeled

windows and broken windows. Windows of the heart, and the windows of

    our eyes. Show your window!<div>00QoCz-70421884.jpg.b216a8696a01931641a932534b281cb0.jpg</div>

  3. Thanks for the responses everyone! I'm pleasantly surprised. Now, that makes ordering online for many products quite attractive really. Although warranty validity etc is an issue of course. Is it worthwhile to purchase the extra protection from the e-commerce stores? Now as for my first question ... why no Konica-Minolta in Canada? 31 Million of us here!
  4. I want to know more about importing a camera into Canada. The

camera I want to buy is not available in Canada as Konica-Minolta

has pulled out of Canada. -Why? Anyway, I'm interested in buying

The Dimage A2 as it has an excellent rating for that type of

camera. I don't know anything about taxes, import duties, etc ...

    Help!

  5. Kind of a strange question the first one. Its like asking "what does red look like?". Impossible to answer. As for the second question, photography has not changed since 1950, or from 1800, or from whenever the camera was first invented. Its only a tool with a certain capacity to capture the world around us in whatever way you choose. Over time it has become more accessible to the masses, particularly with the onset of digital photography. That's cool with me!
  6. Still, when I receive a rating 3 or lower, I just want to know what the raters head space is. If he's jerk and spiteful, well that is an explanation and rating I know I can dismiss. If it is a genuine critique, then I can learn something from it and move on from there. I'm frustrated when I get a bunch of decent ratings and feeling good about the impact my picture has had, and then there is that low, silent 2,2, and I'm left with, 'What up with that?'
