Great picture. Also, thank you for saying something smarter than "please critique my picture"
-
Wonderful picture. How did you do it? Is this a panorama?
-
Ruben, thank you for the comments. I don't have "two images combined", at least not in the technical sense ... this was one photograph taken through the door of the cabin.

Stitched several RAW images together from a location on the porch of the Jackson Lake Lodge
in July 2005 using PanaVue.

Decaying sodbuster's cabin in Idaho just west of the Teton range. Most residents of the area
are barely three generations from their ancestors who lived a very hard life. Today, the area is
beautiful and lush, part of the World's Breadbasket (is there such a thing as a Potato basket?)

The Green and Colorado rivers meet in Canyonlands National Park in southern Utah. The
image was taken looking approximately south, with the Green entering the scene from the
right and joining the Colorado. It's interesting to see the different colored water join; look
very closely at the very bottom of the picture and you can see the wake of a boat just
disappearing northward.
Taken from a small airplane.

Brooklyn Bridge at dawn, B&W made from color in Photoshop

WOW! Extraordinary, extraordinary.

How did you create this? This surely isn't just a camera shot, surely there was a lot of Photoshop involved. What did you do?

On the one hand, I am stunned by the beauty of this picture. On the other hand, I am very unhappy that you have provided no information about how you managed to capture this image. I want very much to learn and merely looking at great pictures is not sufficient.

Please tell me what post processing you've done here? This is a remarkable picture.
-
Where do you come up with this filter combination? It's great, but how do you know what combo to use?
-
Super duper.
-
Great, great picture.

Do I like the truck? I change my mind every time I look at this picture (which I really like)

Taken from the Charlestown Navy Yard looking across Boston Harbor at
the new I-93 bridge and the Boston Garden

Very nice

Oooo!

The b+w in front of the colors is great.
Wish you'd mentioned how it was achieved.

Nice. Too bad you junked it up with your copyright.

Nice eye for patterns.

Great colors
Amusing Sign in the Charlestown Navy Yard

Amusing sign in the Charlestown, MA Navy Yard. Once upon a time,
this was a huge shipyard, with dozens of huge ships in dry dock.
Today, it is a tourist attraction (the USS Constitution, Old
Ironsides, is here) and a growing condo location.
