What a pleasant scene. It would be even more interesting to know the location. Cheers, -Clayton

Interesting capture. I've seen similar flag trucks, even here in liberal Santa Cruz. Clearly she is the United States Ambassador to the United Nations. That said, she should be fined for brandishing a frayed US flag. Cheers!

I love that view of Third Pillar from Lee Vining Canyon. The warm light with remaining snow in the gullies adds to the appeal. Cheers, -Clayton

Jeff, very nice. I recognized this area right away. In this case, I prefer the color version. The golden brown meadows signal the approaching colder, snowy days. Cheers, -Clayton.

Jeff, thanks for your encouraging comments. I was driving on the way from Las Vegas to Zion National Park. On a whim, I made a detour through Valley of Fire State Park. It was mid afternoon, so the lighting wasn't ideal, but some high clouds softened it up a bit. This area would be worth spending more time there to catch the early morning and late afternoon light. Cheers, -Clayton.

Thanks Rich. Cheers, -Clayton.

Giangiorgio, thanks for commenting. This was definitely an unusual site here is coastal California. I was just lucky to be there at the right time. Cheers, -Clayton

Evgeny, nice capture from my local area. Cheers, -Clayton

Nice beach scene and moment captured. Regarding the bottom, I see foreshortening from a long lens. The very bottom looks like dry sand with a raised area of wet reflecting sand just above it, and then the breaking surf. It looks natural to me. Cheers, -Clayton

Very eye-catching scene. I knew it was your work right away! Cheers, -Clayton

Nice capture. I suspect that someone's been feeding him. We have foxes here in California, but they are very shy and secretive. Cheers, -Clayton

Hi B. Bernardo, thanks for commenting. Mother Nature at her best!

Greetings, Laurent. It's been a while. Thanks for your comment. Cheers, -Clayton

Elaine, thank you for your kind comment. I agree about the surreal part. This area of the desert can give some cool sunsets with lenticular clouds over the peaks, especially in the winter. Cheers, -Clayton

A classic theme, and very well executed. Cheers, -Clayton

Very cool capture. I hope there aren't many flat earthers trolling photo.net, because they would say that it totally missed the moon and is following the curve of the dome firmament! But most of us know better. Cheers, Clayton
