The Columbia Rive Gorge looking East from the Washington side from Cape Horn Lookout (about 1,200 feet up). It's the day after Thanksgiving 2005. Although shot with R 70-180 APO at 2.8 500th, note t in Landscape 2 Posted June 19, 2007 I used a Bogen 3030 tripod, mirror lock up (Leica R9) and the R-Vario Elmarit 70-180 APO. Even shooting at f 2.8@ 500th, I sill got some tree movement (wind was really blowing). I sought to capture the moody, brooding sky and dark green tones with moving sun patches across the river and the hills to the right. What might I try next time to improve this shot?
Untitled in Nature 58 Posted February 24, 2007 It's true: Less is More. Do us all a favor and copyright this image, get it published, get the money and shoot some more like it in all four seasons. An elegant expression of your talent and what's there to see when one is "Paying Attention". Thank you! Bob in Seattle
