my work has attracted so few, as i review my interactions and ratings - i've decided to cut the cord and no longer list here.

i've sold any number of images at fineartamerica.com and had a lot more comments without paying for my space...

  2. well.

the sky is a lot of it. who can miss it?

i am an unabashed precisionist painter/photographer. Charles Sheeler is one of my main influences - altho you'd have to work to see it. the industrial/post industrial vs landscape is a part of my vision.

I really don't like the implication, but it's also what made the part of my American experience bountiful...that which we're now going to suffer under [?]

This image offers the cleanliness of line vs the cleanliness of nature, which I see as the yin/yang of American power.

Wow, that's a lot for an image...but you asked.

no more foreground for me. i'd like to suggest something you could do to this that would make it more acceptable to me - but I can't. It's perfect.

what's here is excellent counterpoint to what else is going on in the composition. Wyeth-like, and yet, the color and rhythm of the silos is exquisite and distinctly not southeastern Pennsylvania. ...and the farmer's faith: an arrow pointing to his maker, that which dictates the random bounty and bust of his toil. my my my, what a wonder full, beauty full, stark, heavy, simple image. horray! a masterpiece.
