Funny enough, what seems 'surely' to one observer may be totally incomparable with another observer's feelings.... And when this happens, this is usually a clear sigh of the object discussed being a TRUE FINE ART one. (Few people tend to disagree on the quality of a purely technical illustration!)

For me, personally, this photo is simply the best one ever posted by this author.

Others are not expected to agree with me though.

It's really a pity your have not explained what is the picture about. Looks like some very old tradition dating back to pre-christian times being at work... But without an explanation, this is just nothing more then a snapshot, certainly nice but totally meaningless.

Very Lithuanian... one more musterpiece of the great school we all admired (but no one could ever imitate) those days in the gone-away-USSR.

P.S.: Looked through the whole of your portfolio... not all the pictures are up to the highest level of the famous Lithuanian tradition but I found a couple of other exctllent shots, too.
